Ssang Yong Kwan has been involved in the development of taekwondo in Hong Kong for almost a decade. Grand Master Jack Eom and Grand Master Sam Eom have encouraged and inspired a generation of taekwondo and fitness enthusiasts. They are qualified to issue Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Federation) black belt certificates.

"We branded Ssang Yong Kwan as Fitness with Meaning because of our belief that taekwondo is a pathway supported by true meaning and an indomitable mindset. Ssang Yong Kwan’s instructors share the same values and inspire students with their skill, energy and professionalism. Together, we value lifelong learning in a supportive setting to develop healthy minds and bodies for children and adults of all ages, skills and abilities.

From our extensive teaching experience, we understand that learning and doing are based on a blend of physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills. The synergy of these four skills is reflected in our unique taekwondo education programs.”

Taekwondo is an ancient Korean martial art that promotes courtesy, respect, integrity and self-control in a healthy mind and body. Translated literally it means ‘The Art of Hands and Feet”, and has much more to offer than a simple kick or punch and serves as one of an Olympic sport. It is training on discipline and respect.

Ssang Yong Kwan has been an integral part of the development of taekwondo in Hong Kong. Our 6th Dan Black Belt Grand Masters are native Taekwondo Masters from Korea and have contributed in the establishment of Cheung Do Kwan in Hong Kong.

We have full-time, modern fitness centers in Hong Kong, and a range of courses and programs to suit children and adults of all ages and abilities.
